A September 2021 release, the modern “University Red” Dunk draws from the colorway of the same nickname that was part of the aforementioned college basketball-inspired line from the mid-80s. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel display a bold University Red leather construction. White leather on the overlaid panels and Swoosh contrast the look. Red “Nike” detailing is embroidered onto the heel and a red “Nike” with a Swoosh logo appears on the white nylon tongue tag on the red nylon tongue.
